Our Pals Place
A website for a volunteer-run Marietta, GA animal-rescue nonprofit, supporting adoptions, donations, and its youth summer camp program, Camp OPP 2026.
┌ ┐
Project Overview
Our Pal’s Place is a 501(c)(3), volunteer-based animal rescue and pet-adoption nonprofit in Marietta, Georgia, operating with no paid staff to find homes for orphaned puppies, dogs, and cats. We built their WordPress website to support the organization’s core missions: adoptions, donations and wish-list giving, volunteering, and their signature youth program, Camp OPP, where kids spend week-long summer sessions caring for rescue animals. The site centralizes the information supporters, adopters, and camp families need.
The Challenge
A no-paid-staff nonprofit needs a website that does the work of a full team: driving adoptions and donations, recruiting volunteers, answering FAQs, and handling registration for its Camp OPP program — all on a lean budget and maintainable by volunteers.
The Approach
We structured the site around the organization’s key actions — adopt, donate, volunteer, and register for camp — with clear contact details and a dedicated Camp OPP 2026 section. Donation and wish-list pathways were made prominent, and content was organized so volunteers can keep it current without technical help.
The Solution
Our Pal’s Place has an accessible, mission-focused website that makes it easy for the community to adopt, give, volunteer, and enroll kids in Camp OPP, helping a fully volunteer-run rescue extend its reach without added overhead.
